For dinner last night we decided to cook pork chops with honey, lemon, and curry powder along with garlic mashed potatoes and green asparagus with sauce. Jacob was in charge of the pork chops, Amy did the mashed potatoes, and I did the asparagus. Having never prepared asparagus I’d say it turned out pretty good. The recipe called for:
- 1 Clove of garlic
- 1 Sprig of parsley
- 2 Slices of bread
- 1 Tablespoon of white wine vinegar
- 2 Eggs
- 2 lbs of asparagus (cut into 1 inch pieces)
It took about 1/2 an hour to do, but I was pleased in the end. The pork chops and mashed potatoes were both excellent. My compliments to the other chefs! Next week we are taking a break and going to IHOP for National Pancake Day!
