What have I been doing? (Well not posting very much, that is for sure!). I’ll fill you in:
- Mountain Biking around Lake Fayetteville with David and Amy
- Hiking to Big Bluff and Hemmed-in-Hollow on the Buffalo River with Amy
- Running in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure 5K in Rogers and doing the Bark for the Cure as well
- Watching a lot of Hog baseball
- Researching tape backup solutions for First Church
- Trying to get a Sennheiser EW135 wireless microphone fixed
- Attempting fix our video screen in the Family Life Center
- Building a theater for our children’s ministry
- Hosting Dave Ramsey’s Town Hall for Hope
- Brainstorming with marketing, website, and graphics folks from PontiacChurch to get a sweet website up (John, Tricia, Mike)
- Volunteering at 1st Youth. Gotta love the 8th graders
- Going on work site visits for First Church’s Local Mission Project (June 21st-26th)
- Moving a bunch of dirt so David and Kimberly (my brother and sister-in-law) can plant a garden
- Test riding road bikes with Jacob, one of my roommates. He got a killer Trek 2.1
- Attending a free show by Guster at the Greek Theatre on campus
- The roommates and I treating ourselves to Doe’s after dog sitting for several friends.
Oh, and to top it all off, I am on the jury duty list for Washington County until the end of June. That could be fun!
