I went out to Redding campground off of Hwy 215 Friday night. It was a nice getaway. Woke up fairly early to hike the Spy Rock loop trail (8.8 miles). I followed the east side in the morning, had lunch on Spy Rock, then took the west side back down. It was a good hike and a great getaway.
